  • Kiddo has changed mine and my fiancé’s lives. I’ve been to the restaurant almost 10 times now and live very close by, and it’s easily top 3 restaurants in the city in my book. We recently turned vegetarian 2 years ago and this restaurant has opened our eyes to all the colors, flavors, and textures you can experiment with in dishes. Also the music is always a good vibe and the staff. I’ve seen the one star reviews and I think it’s straight pettiness. First of all, this restaurant is newer and up and coming; using ethically sourced and high quality ingredients means higher prices. They have to be profitable to be in business and if you’re upset about a $10 charge per person, I’d like remind everyone that a lot of restaurants have a cancellation charge, so do a lot of services like hair, nails, brows, etc. I have always loved this restaurant and I can’t wait to see what they do this year. Me and my fiancé loved it so much he surprised me to a brunch with our friends for our engagement and the chef was kind enough to make a special menu for us, I still have it in my scrapbook. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re definitely missing out!!

  • Stellar service! The folks working there are super friendly and attentive. They put a candle on my dish since my friend mentioned that it was my birthday- very thoughtful! The food was excellent- ingredients were fresh and the dishes had great flavors. The brunch drinks were tasty as well. Will definitely be going again!

  • I’d be talking about this place with my gf for months so we finally decided to go for a small, quiet birthday dinner. My gf is vegetarian, so this spot was perfect for her! As an omnivore I truly expected to feel dissatisfied with mostly veggie options, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The tempura apples were incredible, and the salad was so fresh and delicious. We ordered a limited special pasta dish with lobster mushrooms, and another radiatore pasta dish as well. The drink selection has something for everybody. The service was incredible too. Our server Missy explained the dishes with incredible detail and was properly attentive throughout the night. Highly reccomend.

  • We had a reservation for 6 and then a friend came and they kindly let us add him last minute. The tasting menu which we did was 75 a person and left everyone stuffed, but the vegetable forward quality meant it wasn't overloaded. Highlights for me were - the tempura apples with a cheese fondue. I would never have ordered this, but the sweetness and crisp of the apple was surprisingly akin to shrimp and worked so well I was shocked. Every salad was incredible. The spiral pasta in a smoked cheese and squash sauce with breadcrumbs was PERFECT. The hen was the best piece of chicken I've had in Philadelphia. The strawberry sorbet should be sold in stores, it was that good. The drinks were all amazing, and props for best small wine list I've seen in a while. We had an excellent Sangiovese from Montalcino that despite being a 22 and slightly young, balanced the leather against the stone fruit perfectly for it's age. Just an awesome meal all around. Protip - If I was single this would be a hitter for a first time date given the atmosphere and the dishes would

  • The restaurant has a very cool but simple in vibe with walls full of well selected arts of both classic and modern taste. Waitress, hostess and entire staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The food has amazing farm to table vegetables and ingredients, executed in new and interesting ways and bursting with flavor.

  • Great cocktail, small but well thought out beer selection. Well priced all around. Had a small plate that was basically sweet potatoe crepe with ricotta or some other whipped cheese. Simply divine. Chatted with owner, great dude that obviously cares about his craft and local sourcing. Will be back again to try happy hour / full dinner!

  • For a vegetable-forward restaurant, they sure cook a chicken (guinea hen) perfectly! Served with the cider jus and a cornbread- amazing! Food was absolutely delicious and thoughtful, as was the service. The cocktail menu was well crafted and the Kiddo martini is a must. Would love to come back for happy to try more of the menu.
